# DaJent — your taste, amplified **DaJent is the prep behind every set, built around your taste. For DJs who gig.** Every 2-hour set hides a week of work: discovery, downloads, conversion, tagging — by hand, one track at a time. DaJent handles that grind: it analyses the tracks you own, tags and organises them in the words *you* use, helps you build the set, and writes a USB stick that loads straight onto Pioneer CDJs. You get the hours back and you still pick every track. ## The problem it solves - **The lost weekend.** Ten hours of prep for two hours of music, repeated every week on a different track list. - **The hunt that never ends.** Discovery rabbit holes and a best-price chase across Beatport, Juno and Bandcamp — and you still did not find everything. - **The songs you forgot you owned.** Untagged and invisible. The track that would have made tonight pivot is already in your library, and you cannot find it. ## How it works 1. **Discover** — a crate digger that learns how you dig, then digs for you. You decide what makes the crate. 2. **Acquire** — DaJent finds the right legal source (Beatport, Juno, Bandcamp). One click, fair price, no piracy. 3. **Curate** — BPM, key, energy and the tags you defined in your own words. It learns your taste with every tweak. 4. **Perform** — straight to USB for rekordbox or Serato. Cue points, crates, everything comes along. ## Why DaJent is different Most DJ tools try to pick the songs for you. DaJent does the opposite: it watches what you keep, what you cut and what you actually drop in a set, and builds a taste profile that is yours alone. You pick every track; DaJent makes sure the right ones surface. No two DaJent libraries look the same, because no two DJs hear music the same way. DaJent never auto-mixes and never auto-selects what plays. It tags, organises and surfaces music based on what you have already validated. **Is this streaming-based? What if you go away?** We are cloud-first for sync, not streaming-first. The audio in your library is real files you own, exportable at any time to USB for rekordbox or Serato. If we ever shut down, you walk away with your full library and your tags intact. **Why are we doing this?** Breaking into DJing in 2026 feels like stepping back into the early 2000s: dated interfaces, tools that do not get the job done, and hours lost to preparation instead of craft.
