About DaJent

DaJent is a music-library and set-preparation tool for working DJs. It analyses the tracks you already own — key, BPM, energy, cue points, descriptive tags — organises them into a library you can actually navigate, helps you build sets around an energy curve, and exports the result to USB in rekordbox-compatible format so it loads straight onto Pioneer CDJs.

The company behind it is DaJent LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. The team works out of Santa Barbara, California, alongside the DJs who use the product.

Why we build it

Breaking into DJing in 2026 feels like stepping back into the early 2000s. The interfaces are dated and the tools do not get the job done. Time is scarcer than ever, yet DJs still burn hours on music preparation instead of on their craft. That grind slows gigging DJs down, and it stops beginners from ever breaking in. Lowering the barrier to entry — and freeing DJs to spend their hours on curation — is the whole point of the product.

Where we are

DaJent is in closed beta. It was designed with working DJs — the DJs quoted on our homepage play in London, Bristol, Los Angeles, New York and Santa Barbara — and access is granted by invitation from the founders-residency waitlist on the homepage. There is no public pricing yet, and no public API.
